*Blog Series based on some of the interventions made at the Roundtable is now live* Our call for submissions for a closed-roundtable (Zoom, Friday 9 July) is now closed. Please stay tuned for details and the schedule for Queer’ Asia 2021 Special E-Roundtable – ‘Queer’ + Decoloniality in Post-Socialist States (deadline for submissions: 3 May).

Our activities in Germany kick off with a call for participants for Imagining Queer Bandung. This project aims to draw a bridge between a “unity in desire” and LGBTQ+ social activism, decolonial knowledge, and cinematic imagination. How can we imagine alternative approaches in which queer bodies – across Asian, African, and Caribbean contexts – participate in, produce and reclaim these larger discourses for themselves, their communities, and their liberation, as neither national nor sexual objects?
